Adam was more or less born and raised in the gym, and knows pretty much everything there is to know about exercise, nutrition and anatomy. He started competing as an athlete at the age of 11 and specialises in Olympic Weightlifting, Powerlifting and Strongman.

 

Adam offers weightlifting training, video analysis and technical coaching on a 121 and small group basis. He’s no stranger to creating performance-based and aesthetic-based training programmes, and can help you lose weight for competitions while building your strength. He also provides sports psychology services, sports massages and runs kids’ classes.

 

He helps clients accomplish their goals by focusing on training methods that are proven to gain results. He’s straight-talking, motivational and adapts his approach to each client. He’s always a phone call or message away if you need support or guidance.

SAM FRANKLIN
Head Coach (Nutrition)

Sam is our head nutrition coach and is passionate about helping people to improve their heath, turn their lives around or to achieve peak athletic performance. She’s created a nutrition service that’s proven to get long lasting results. Sam will take your body composition measurements, help you to set goals and support you in developing positive habits. If you want to shed those extra pounds, train competitively or build your confidence, Sam will create a personalised programme that’s right for you, offer continual support and monitor your food diary to keep you on track.

 

Alongside this, she’s a British Champion weightlifter and coach’s our clients face to face and online to achieve a variety of goals.

 

Sam has a soft sport for pick n mix, wine and Adam Travis.

'Grandad George’ George Travis
COACH

George is our inspiration. He’s 74, and still a competitive weightlifter and British Masters Champion. He has two jobs, working part time as a fitness instructor for a local gym as well as being a valued member of our coaching team. George is great with all people, especially people new to exercise. He loves coaching and helping people to build their confidence in the gym. He’s great with kids and can often be seen coaching one of our many kids’ classes or training for his next competition.

 

George is a social butterfly and just loves being around people, in and around the gym.

 

His weaknesses are beer and chips, bath bombs and Prosecco.

Chinese Allan (Allan King)
COACH

Allan is our mastermind of programming and analysis of movement patterns. He takes great pride in his programming, designing them tailored to individuals or groups to push them beyond their limits. When you think you can’t give anymore, his favourite saying is ‘overcome’. He enjoys seeing people working towards and achieving their full potential whether that’s weightlifting, CrossFit or trying to lose or gain weight. He believes that everyone is capable of more and enjoys showing them what is possible.

 

As an athlete he is hard working and dedicated to his craft of Olympic Weightlifting, he works harder than anyone we know, and loves that the sport constantly pushes him to progress.

 

When he isn’t cutting weight for competition, he loves to enjoy a Freddy’s Steakburger and frozen custard (hopefully not together)

Hannah Beaumont
COACH

Hannah simply loves lifting, whether that’s training, competing or coaching. She’s our resident beast. She’s coached people of all ages and abilities and has gone from owning and coaching in her own facility, to joining our coaching team which she finds much more enjoyable and less stressful than owning her own place. She loves being in the gym, the atmosphere and sharing her passion with others. She takes pride in helping and watching people achieve their goals and likes to push people out of their comfort zones to achieve their true potential.

 

She’s easy to talk to, supportive and fun.

 

As an athlete she’s been ranked amongst the best in the country in Powerlifting and Olympic Weightlifting and would love to be a British Champion. Watch this space.

 

When she isn’t posting selfies of her abs, she can be found eating cookie dough, or pancakes with ice cream.

Stephanie Croft
COACH

Steph has amazed us with her own personal transformation and commitment to her training and nutrition. As she’s transformed her lifestyle and body, her passion for health and fitness has grown and grown so much so that she’s become a qualified fitness instructor and weightlifting coach. She’s great with kids and has recently joined our team of coaches supporting our kids’ classes. Steph loves to come up with fun warm up and cool down games to make the sessions fun and engaging and is growing into a great coach.

 

Steph is a breath of fresh air in the gym, she loves to train hard, chat, laugh, drink coffee and keeps us well stocked with protein pizza and skinny beer.

DARREN FOSKETT
COACH

Darren is one of the newest members of our squad but embodies our culture perfectly. He joins us with a wealth of experience in the fitness industry and loves working with people. He enjoys encouraging people to do things that are challenging to help them push pass their own perceived limits and loves watching the grow mentally and physically.

 

Darren has done lots of endurance and weights-based training in the past but recently found Olympic Weightlifting and fell in love with the sport. He loves being in the gym, whether it’s training, coaching or having a coffee and a chat. He’s approachable, likes to improve himself and others and helping people to find and reach goals.

 

When no-one is watching his food diary, he’s partial to a chicken kebab or a couple of bags of crisps.
